HOWARD COOPER – President
Howard founded the Howard Cooper organization in 1965. Although his original construction was a Volkswagen dealership, a second building was built and the Porsche and Audi franchises were added in 1972. In 1979 he obtained the Honda franchise, and those four manufacturers are being represented today.


GEORGE DAVIS – General Manager

George is in his 20th year as the General Manager of our dealership. During his career, he has held almost every position available in retail automotive. George has 42 years of dealership experience, almost exclusively with Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Honda vehicles.


CHRIS PINEAU – Pre-Owned Sales Manager

Chris started with our dealership as a used vehicle sales person in 1994. In 1999 he was promoted to the position of Pre-Owned Sales Manager. Chris has a total of 20 years of automobile dealership experience.


JIM WEASEL – Honda Sales Manager

Jim has been with our dealership for a total of 15 years. During that time he has held several different management positions, culminating in his current position of Honda Sales Manager. Jim has a total of 25 years of automotive experience, all of which follow a 4 year tour of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corp.


BRIAN ENGLISH – Volkswagen/Porsche/Audi Sales Manager

Brian has over 34 years of automotive experience, 20 of which have been in sales management for both New and Pre Owned vehicle sales. His experience has included both import and domestic vehicle lines. He prides himself on customer satisfaction.

Paul has 39 years of automotive experience, 34 of them at Howard Cooper Inc. A degreed professional, Paul has experienced almost every position in the automotive environment. Through the years of service, Paul has attained master technician status from Volkswagen of America, National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, and the State of Michigan.


MIKE DAVIS – Volkswagen/Porsche/Audi Parts Manager

Mike started his career in the automotive industry at the age of 15, washing service cars during the summer. Since then he has compiled approximately 20 years of dealership experience including porter, maintenance, new car sales, service advisor and service dispatcher. He joined the Howard Cooper organization in 1996, and in 2000 he was elevated to the position of VW/Audi/Porsche Parts Manager.


BRAD STEGEMANN – Honda Service Manager

Brad has been with our dealership for 23 years. He started as our VW/Audi/Porsche Parts Manager in 1988. In 1997 he became the Service Manager of the Honda dealership. Brad has a total of 31 years automotive experience, and is a Platinum Level Honda Service Manager.

Dan started in the automotive business in 1976 while still in High School. He joined the Howard Cooper dealership in 2006 as our Honda Parts Manager. Dan has a total of 20 years with American Honda and has a total of 33 years of automotive experience


CRYSTAL BROOME – Customer Relations Manager

Crystal started her career in the automobile industry while still in high school, and has an extensive background in parts damage inspection and sales. She joined the Howard Cooper staff in 2003 as the Manager of customer and employee relations. Crystal is truly passionate about her position and is totally committed to helping every customer and employee.


ANDREW WATCHES – Business Manager

Andy started his career in the retail automotive sector in May of 1990. His extensive background in sales, sales management and business management, and his keen eye for detail makes him an ideal fit for his current position of Business Manager. Andy started with the Cooper organization in June of 2009 and has already proven to be a valuable asset in a short period of time.


Joel Rosentreter – Internet Manager

Joel Started with us in 2008 as a Honda sales consultant. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in green sustainable business management. Joel grew up in Chelsea and then moved to Ann Arbor in 2006. He was promoted to the internet manager in 2010.
