Howard Cooper Volkswagen was founded by Howard J. Cooper Jr. in November of 1965. Built to be a single point Volkswagen dealership, the building has been remodeled and enlarged several times since then.

1972 brought the Porsche and Audi franchises and another new building. Although service for all three franchises was done out of the original Volkswagen building, the Porsche Audi building had a very distinctive multi level appearance.

In 1979 we added the Honda franchise and more changes were made to the floor plan. Porsche and Audi were moved to the existing Volkswagen building and Honda moved into the building that previously housed Porsche and Audi.

Things stayed pretty much the same throughout the 80’s and 90’s but 2004 brought yet another significant enhancement. In December of that year, we opened the new 2 story Honda facility and a drive through car wash. With those changes and the addition of our new lower level parking area, we have literally acres of new vehicles available for your inspection.

Summer of 2009 brought on the most recent improvement to our facilities. Our northern most building has been transformed into a state of the art Porsche showroom.
